Dianne Glenn - The Principal

Dianne Glenn has been involved in diverse aspects of technology commercialisation, from hands-on scientific research, to investment and corporate activities, within:

  • Boutique institutional investment bank in Sydney, specializing in the biotechnology and life sciences sector, as a senior research analyst
  • KPMG, providing sector-related advice to teams within the tax, risk management, corporate finance and transaction services divisions, with clients in the biotechnology, healthcare, agricultural, food, construction and engineering sectors
  • Private biotechnology company, in both research and management positions
  • Government and academic research institutes, including the University of NSW, a Cooperative Research Centre and CSIRO

Dianne holds a PhD in molecular biology and the University Medal from the University of NSW, Sydney, Australia. She was a senior lecturer in the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of NSW, and is currently an invited lecturer within that school and the Australian Graduate School of Management.

She has extensive hands-on experience in both lab and field research in microbial isolation, molecular genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry, and fermentation up to pilot scale.

As an analyst, Dianne Glenn has provided advice on company valuations, merger and acquisition activity, Initial Public Offerings, as well as the investment readiness of listed biotechnology companies.
